Who is Awaed?
Awaed is a fast-growing fintech company redefining how people trade and invest in the region. Our mission is to empower investors through technology, transparency, and innovation — delivering a secure and high-performance trading experience that brings global markets closer to everyone.
At Awaed, you’ll join a passionate team of builders, dreamers, and problem-solvers working on cutting-edge solutions that move the trading world forward.
What do we need?
We’re looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-impact projects across Awaed's trading operations, wealth management services, and corporate functions. You will work closely with business leaders, technology teams, compliance officers, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic priorities. This role demands both financial domain awareness and exceptional organizational discipline.
What are we looking for?
Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management — from scoping and planning through execution, monitoring, and formal closure — across trading and wealth management initiatives.
Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, resource requirements, and success metrics in alignment with business objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, compliance, risk, and client services, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, status reports, and stakeholder communication frameworks.
Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve project risks, dependencies, and blockers, employing structured mitigation strategies.
Manage vendor and third-party partner relationships related to project scope and deliverables.
Track project budgets, manage expenditure forecasts, and report on financial performance against plan.
Champion agile and hybrid project management methodologies, adapting approaches to project complexity and organizational needs.
Facilitate steering committee meetings, working sessions, and executive reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability at all levels.
Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and standardizing project management practices across the organization.
Support change management efforts, ensuring business readiness and smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
What will you do?
7+ years of project management experience, ideally in financial services
Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects
Strong proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana, or equivalent)
Solid understanding of trading operations, asset management, or wealth advisory workflows
Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
High analytical proficiency and data-driven decision-making approach
Bilingual proficiency (Arabic/English)
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations.
Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or working with highly complex, regulated systems.
Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects in finance
Recognized Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe).
Why you'll love working at Awaed?
Be part of a mission-driven fintech shaping the future of trading in the Gulf.
Work with modern technologies and a talented team that values innovation and impact.
A culture that encourages growth, learning, and ownership.
Competitive salary and benefits package.
