What do we need?
We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Growth & Performance Marketing Manager to lead our dedicated Growth and Performance function. You will be responsible for the full user funnel—from driving user acquisition through highly optimized media buying, to maximizing user retention and lifetime value (LTV) through advanced CRM and lifecycle campaigns.
You will take full ownership of this vertical, working in parallel with our Marketing and Editorial leaders to ensure our growth strategies are highly targeted, ROI-driven, and seamlessly executed across all paid and owned channels.
What will you do?
Lifecycle & Retention Strategy (CRM Focus)
Strategize, build, and optimize complex user journeys, campaigns, and automated workflows.
Manage cross-channel retention strategies, including Push Notifications, In-App Messages, SMS, and Email to drive engagement, reduce churn, and boost LTV.
Conduct continuous A/B testing on messaging, timing, and triggers within the CRM ecosystem to maximize conversion rates at every funnel stage.
Tech Stack: Drive execution primarily using CleverTap (or similar enterprise-grade platforms like Braze, MoEngage, or Iterable).
Paid Acquisition & Media Buying
Lead the end-to-end media buying strategy across major social and digital platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Google Ads, X, etc.).
Manage and allocate performance marketing budgets, ensuring strict adherence to CAC, CPA, and ROAS targets.
Monitor daily campaign pacing, analyze cost structures, and pivot budgets dynamically to capitalize on the best-performing channels.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment
Manage and lead the Growth & Performance Marketing team, setting clear KPIs, OKRs, and operational rhythms.
Provide clear, data-driven insights to executive leadership regarding funnel performance, budget efficiency, and growth trajectory.
Collaborate closely with parallel department leads (Marketing, Editorial) to align performance campaigns with overarching creative and content strategies.
What are we looking for?
7+ years of dedicated experience in Growth, Performance Marketing, or User Acquisition/Retention, preferably in the MENA region.
CRM Mastery: Strong preference for candidates with deep, hands-on expertise in CleverTap, but proven mastery of equivalent lifecycle platforms (e.g., Braze, MoEngage) is highly acceptable. You must be able to architect complex user journeys from day one.
Proven track record in media buying, with direct experience managing budgets and negotiating platform costs.
Strong mastery of marketing analytics and MMPs, specifically Adjust and Metabase, to track multi-touch attribution, analyze user behavior, and build actionable performance reports.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct reports and owning a dedicated functional area.
Fluency in English and Arabic (Highly preferred for MENA targeting).
